News: Gallinari (knee) may start the season behind Wilson Chandler on the depth chart, coach Brian Shaw intimated Monday, the Denver Post's Chris Dempsey reports. Impact: Shaw said Gallinari is going through an adjustment period and that the team already has a pretty good player in Chandler at small forward. Gallo has yet to play five-on-five as he works his way back from a knee injury, and it seems the onus will be on him to take the starting job from Chandler.(RotoWire, )

News: Gallinari (knee) remains on track to be ready to participate in training camp, but he has yet to play five-on-five, NBA.com reports. Impact: Gallinari underwent surgery to reconstruct his ACL in January. He missed the entire 2013-14 season with the injury, and considering that the Nuggets had him wait until January to have surgery, there are likely going to be several physical and mental hurdles Gallinari will have to overcome in the preseason and start of the regular season. He's a risky player to hitch fantasy championship aspirations to this season and isn't worth the risk in most leagues unless he's coming at a steep discount.(RotoWire, )
