News: Beal provided 12 points (5-10 FG, 2-2 3Pt), five rebounds, five assists, and three steals in 32 minutes in the win over Cleveland on Friday. Impact: Beal played a starter's complement of minutes and should supplant Garrett Temple in the starting lineup in the near future. While his scoring was low in the win, he produced a nice all-around line.(RotoWire, )

News: Beal came off the bench in his season debut against the Dallas Mavericks and played 26 minutes. He scored a team-high 21 points (9-17 FG, 3-6 3Pt) while adding three rebounds, three assists, and one steal with two turnovers. Impact: Beal had himself a nice game, considering he has been out with a wrist injury all season. The youngster is already considered one of the better shooting guards in the NBA and it's exciting to see him back. He should continue to make strides in his game as he shakes the rust off. Time to get him back in your fantasy lineup!(RotoWire, )

News: Beal (wrist) is active for Wednesday's game, CSNWashington reports. Impact: Beal has been out since the preseason with a fractured wrist. He'll come of the bench Wednesday, limiting his value. With 11 games Wednesday, it's probably safer to use another option in most leagues and daily games.(RotoWire, )

News: Beal (wrist) says he will be a game-time decision for Wednesday's game against the Mavericks. Impact: There was a report by the Washington Post's Jorge Castillo earlier in the day declaring that Beal would return Wednesday and would play limited minutes off the bench, so regardless of his eventual status, he is not a great play in daily leagues. It seems most likely that the report by the Post was accurate, and Beal will make his return Wednesday, but if not he would almost certainly return Friday. Look for Garrett Temple to continue to start at shooting guard.(RotoWire, )

News: Beal (wrist) will make his season debut Wednesday against the Mavericks, the Washington Post's Jorge Castillo reports. Impact: He will come off the bench and will be on a minutes limit, so he is still not a great play in daily leagues. Once he knocks some rust off and gets comfortable out there, he should be back to playing big minutes alongside John Wall in the Wizards' backcourt. Beal missed the first nine games of the season after suffering a left wrist fracture in the preseason. Garrett Temple figures to remain in the starting lineup Wednesday, but his fantasy relevance will soon dissipate with Beal back.(RotoWire, )

News: Beal (wrist) returned to practice Monday, and the possibility remains that he could play in Friday's game. Impact: The Wizards released a video of Beal putting up shots at practice, and he appeared to have a protective sleeve on his left wrist, but he was shooting three-pointers with ease. In weekly leagues it would be best to leave him on the bench, but he should be ready to aid fantasy teams by next week.(RotoWire, )

News: Beal (wrist) is expected to return to practice this week and is hoping to make his season debut Friday against the Cavaliers, the Washington Post's Jorge Castillo reports. Impact: Doctors evaluated Beal's fractured wrist Friday and concluded that he has avoided any setbacks. He had no limitations during a dribbling and shooting drill in Saturday's shootaround, and the hope is that Beal can practice Monday. Friday would mark exactly six weeks since surgery. This is excellent news for those who stashed Beal on draft day, and it seems Garrett Temple's days as a starter will come to an end soon.(RotoWire, )
