News: Gordon found a little bit of revenge during Monday's preseason loss against his former team, now called the Charlotte Hornets. He scored a team-high 17 points (6-10 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-5 FT) in 19 minutes off the bench. Impact: The rest of Gordon's line was rather bare, consisting of a singular assist. The crowd in Charlotte actually booed the former Sixth Man of the Year, With Gordon attempting to repair his tarnished reputation, expect spotty minutes for him this season combined with a bunch of shots as a reserve.(RotoWire, )

News: Gordon expects to bounce back after a tumultuous tenure with the Bobcats, John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com reports. "This year is to re-establish myself and who I really am as a player," Gordon went on to say. Impact: Gordon spent a significant portion of his offseason at team headquarters working on his game. Historically, he's performed better under coaches with previous guard experience in the NBA (Scott Skiles and Vinny Del Negro), so a collaboration with Jacque Vaughn might just be the perfect elixir. Through two preseason contests, Gordon has scored 15 points on 18 shots in 36 minutes.(RotoWire, )
