News: Davis was under the weather Tuesday, which may have contributed to his off night, the Times-Picayune's Nakia Hogan reports. Impact: He finished with just 14 points (4-12 FG, 6-8 FT), nine rebounds, two assists, one steal and two blocks in 38 minutes. Obviously daily fantasy players would have preferred to have this information prior to the game, but Davis was likely in no hurry to make it well known. The Pelicans are off until Friday, and it seems likely that Davis will go back to being a monster in that game, assuming he is feeling better.(RotoWire, )

News: Davis scored 14 points (4-12 FG, 6-8 FT), with nine rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal in 38 minutes during Tuesday's loss to the Kings. Impact: It wasn't a bad outing by any means, but it wasn't what we're used to seeing from Davis. Expect the big man to get back to business and have a big bounce back game against the Hawks on Friday night.(RotoWire, )

News: Davis scored a career-high 43 points Saturday in the Pelicans' win over the Utah Jazz. He shot 16-of-23 from the field and 11-of-12 from the stripe while collecting 14 rebounds, two steals, and one block in 40 minutes. Impact: The 2014-15 season is Davis' coming out party. Over the last five games, he's averaging 28.4 points, 9.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 2.2 blocks, and 2.0 steals in 36 minutes per game, while shooting 62 percent from the field and 85 percent from the line. Davis is the top rated fantasy player in most formats at the moment, and he still has potential to grow in the coming years. He played point guard growing up, meaning he should learn to facilitate more during his career. Davis also hits his deep jumper with ease, indicating that he could begin shooting three-pointers at some point in his career. That bodes well for his value in fantasy.(RotoWire, )
