News: Iguodala was in the starting lineup for Friday night's preseason loss to the Heat. He played 12 minutes, all in the first quarter, and sat for the remainder of the game. Impact: Head coach Steve Kerr has been experimenting with Iguodala coming off the bench, and that's still the case even with the starting assignment Friday. The Warriors were considering sitting Iguodala for this game, the second of a back-to-back set, but Iguodala had several family members and friends in attendance. The start was a way to let him perform in front of them and get him out of the game quickly.(RotoWire, )

News: Iguodala may come off the bench this season, the San Francisco Chronicle's Rusty Simmons reports. "I don't know if he's going to start, but I know he's going to be in there for us at the end (of games)," coach Steve Kerr said. Impact: The 32.4 minutes per game Iguodala saw last season was the lowest mark of his 10-year NBA career, and there's a chance he could see closer to 30 minutes per game this season. However, if he comes off the bench, there's a chance that could actually increase his offensive counting stats slightly, as he could be a big part of the second team offense. If he does end up being the team's sixth man, Harrison Barnes would jump into the starting lineup.(RotoWire, )

News: Iguodala will come off the bench for a second straight preseason game Thursday night against the Nuggets, CSN Bay Area reports. Harrison Barnes will start a second straight game at small forward. Impact: Head coach Steve Kerr opted to bring Iguodala off the bench last Sunday to ease him into the lineup in the first game after he suffered a broken nose. However, it may have been a revelatory break. Iguodala was masterful as a point-forward on the second unit, dishing out eight assists without a turnover. The talk now is of Iguodala filling a similar role while Shaun Livingston (toe) remains out.(RotoWire, )

News: Iguodala (broken nose) played 21 minutes in Sunday night's preseason game against the Lakers with a mask to protect his broken nose, the San Francisco Chronicle reports. He finished with four points (2-of-6 FG, 0-of-2 3Pt), two rebounds and a game-high eight assists, but was not in the starting lineup. Impact: Head coach Steve Kerr said he wanted to get a look at Iguodala with the second unit, while also seeing Harrison Barnes with the starters. Iguodala worked well on the reserves, particularly as a facilitator, something that might come in handy while backup point guard Shaun Livingston remains out indefinitely with a toe injury. The presumption here is that Iguodala will be the starting small forward when the regular season begins, but Livingston's absence might lead Kerr to juggle his rotations a bit to ensure a ballhandler, like Iguodala, is on the court when the second unit takes the floor.(RotoWire, )

News: Iguodala will play through his broken nose, the CSN Bay Area reports. Impact: Iguodala sustained the injury just before halftime of Thursday night's preseason game against the Lakers. He explained the break is toward the end of the nose and that he should be in the lineup for Sunday's return matchup with the Lakers.(RotoWire, )

News: Iguodala missed Friday's practice to have his broken nose checked out, the San Francisco Chronicle's Rusty Simmons reports. Impact: This was the first we've heard of Iguodala breaking his nose, so there's a chance he could miss further time during the preseason, and he may be fitted for a protective mask. Either way, Iguodala should be ready for the start of the regular season, and figures to once again be a prominent part of the Warriors' rotation.(RotoWire, )

News: Iguodala (knee) started and played 18 minutes in Tuesday night's preseason-opening win over the Clippers. He had three points (1-of-2 FG, 1-of-1 3Pt) with an assist and a steal in the win. Impact: Iguodala didn't play much over the summer because of his knee and opted out of playing for Team USA in the FIBA World Cup tournament.(RotoWire, )
