News: The Golden State Warriors and swingman Brandon Rush have completed the deal they agreed to last week. Impact: The Warriors announced Rush's signing Tuesday. The contract is for two years and about $2.5 million. Rush will hold the option in the second year of the deal. Rush was Golden State's top reserve and best perimeter defender during the 2011-12 season before tearing two ligaments in his left knee in the team's 2012-13 home opener. He was traded to Utah last summer as part of a salary-shedding move. (STATS, 1:56pm)

News: Rush is expected to serve as a backup off guard and small forward for the Warriors, the San Jose Mercury News reports. Impact: This is a similar role Rush played when he was the team's sixth man in 2011-12. In the current makeup of the roster, he won't be as important as a sixth man but he should be part of the rotation. His three-point shooting ability (career, 40.9%) should come in handy off the bench.(RotoWire, )

News: Rush has agreed to a two-year deal with the Warriors, Yahoo! Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reports. Impact: This will be Rush's second stint with the Warriors, and in 2011-12 he had his best year as a pro, averaging 9.8 points, 3.9 rebounds with 1.5 three-pointers in 26.4 minutes per game. There will undoubtedly be plenty of speculation about what will happen with the Warriors in the coming weeks, but it's pretty clear from reports from various news outlets that the T-Wolves would be willing to deal Kevin Love to Golden State if the Warriors were willing to send Klay Thompson back, so Rush could serve as Thompson's replacement in that scenario. That said, he's not close to being on Thompson's level, and it's perhaps more likely that the Warriors are done making big moves this summer, meaning Rush would be simply a bench option, holding little fantasy value.(RotoWire, )

News: Rush and the Golden State Warriors have agreed to a two-year contract. Agent Mark Bartelste says Rush will hold the option in the second season of the deal. Impact: Rush was Golden State's top reserve during the 2011-12 season before tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee in the team's 2012-13 home opener. He was traded to Utah last summer as part of a salary-shedding move that allowed the Warriors to sign Andre Iguodala. Rush played just 38 games for the Jazz last season after returning from that devastating knee injury. He has averaged 8.3 and 3.3 rebounds in six seasons.(STATS, 3:57pm)
