News: Zeller has averaged 15.7 points (58.6 FG, 65.0 FT), 5.3 rebounds, 0.7 assists, 1.3 steals, and 0.7 blocks in 28 minutes during three games at the Las Vegas Summer League. Impact: Zeller has been impressive in summer league play, and it's possible he's in line for an increased role with 2013-14 starter Josh McRoberts opting to sign with the Heat. Expect Zeller to have every opportunity to earn the starting job alongside Al Jefferson in the Hornets' frontcourt, but regardless of whether he's starting or not, he's likely to see plenty of playing time in his sophomore season. Zeller's ability to shoot and spread the floor at power forward is something the team will be looking to replace given McRoberts' departure, and the former appears to be the early favorite to land the starting job over rookie Noah Vonleh.(RotoWire, )

Impact: Zeller started at center, and he had a fine showing in the Hornet's blowout win. He'll likely continue to earn plenty of playing time going forward in the summer league, and he should have every chance to earn a starting spot alongside Al Jefferson with former starting power forward Josh McRoberts signing with the Heat.(RotoWire, )

News: It's expected second-year player Cody Zeller will take the departed McRoberts' spot in Charlotte's starting lineup. Impact: Zeller, the No. 4 pick in the 2013 draft, played in 82 games with three starts as a rookie and averaged six points and four rebounds per game last season. However, he showed dramatic improvement in the second half of the season - and said he's ready to take on a starting role. He will be guided by Hornets associate head coach Patrick Ewing.(STATS, 5:54pm)
