News: Gobert contributed 11 points (4-7 FG, 3-4 FT), 15 rebounds, and two blocks in 28 minutes during the Jazz's 75-73 win versus the Trail Blazers at the Las Vegas Summer League on Friday. Impact: Gobert averaged 11.8 points (73.1 FG, 50.0 FT), 9.8 rebounds, and 2.5 blocks in four games at the Las Vegas Summer League. However, it won't be easy for him to earn considerable playing time given the presence of Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter (knee), and Gobert will need to continue to improve on both ends if he's going to see an uptick in minutes during his sophomore season.(RotoWire, )

News: Gobert (shoulder) is starting Thursday's Las Vegas Summer League contest, the Deseret News reports. Impact: Before sitting out Tuesday's tilt due to a sore shoulder, Gobert thoroughly impressed, averaging 12 points (on 90.9 percent shooting), nine rebounds, 3.5 swats, and one assist in 24 minutes across two games. Sure, the second-year center has faced watered-down competition, but his development indicates that he should be able to produce on defense, at the very least. However, Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter (knee) lie in Gobert's wake, which will likely make minutes difficult to come in the upcoming season.(RotoWire, )

News: Gobert sat out the final game of the Las Vegas Summer League with a sore shoulder, but he managed to average 12 points, nine rebounds and 3.5 blocks during the two contests that he suited up for, the NBA's Official Site reports. Impact: Gobert possesses a lot of raw talent that still needs some harnessing from fist-year coach Quin Snyder. From a fantasy perspective, Gobert would be an excellent source of rebounds and blocks in deeper leagues if he's given 15-20 minutes of playing time per game this upcoming season. However, from a basketball perspective it's a long shot for him to get that much run. Injuries during the regular season could ultimately thrust Gobert into action and fantasy relevancy, but at this point it's hard to justify drafting him in anything but the deepest of leagues.(RotoWire, )
