News: Beasley signed a one-year, $600,000 contract with the Chinese club Shandong on Wednesday, David Pick of Basketballinsiders.com reports.
Impact: After his contract option was declined by the Heat over the summer, Beasley will head back to China, where he played in 2014 before returning to the NBA last February. It's quite likely that Beasley will try to follow the same route again, as his averages of 8.8 points and 3.7 rebounds over 24 games with Miami last season may be good enough for him to hold down a bench role with another squad at some point later in 2015-16.
