News: Wall nearly notched a double-double in Tuesday's exhibition opener against the Sixers, finishing with 10 points (4-10 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), nine assists, and three steals.
Impact: Wall needed just 20 minutes to accumulate that production against the overmatched Sixers, who were without four of their own point guards due to injury. That said, with Wall seemingly erasing the early-career concerns about his ability to stay healthy by suiting up in 161 of a possible 164 regular-season games the last two seasons, the 25-year-old could be poised to turn in his best campaign to date. The Wizards have upgraded the talent around the world-class point guard each of the past two offseasons, which should keep him on pace to match or surpass the 40 double-doubles he notched in 2014-15.

News: Wall (wrist) confirmed he's fully healed from the fractured left wrist that cost him three games in the Eastern Conference Semifinals, Jorge Castillo of the Washington Post reports. "It's fine now. It's perfect," Wall said. "I'm back working out so I'm good."
Impact: Coach Randy Wittman reiterated a similar sentiment days earlier. Wall didn't require surgery on the wrist, and he should be fine heading into training camp. He's been seen at summer league working out just one week after being cleared for basketball activities.

News: Wall (wrist) didn't require surgery this offseason on the fractured left wrist he suffered during the postseason, the Washington Post reports.
Impact: Coach Randy Wittman believes Wall is healthy since the injury that caused him to miss three games of the Eastern Conference Semifinals in May. Wall joined the team at minicamp practice prior to summer league festivities. He should be ready for training camp, and he'll attempt to build upon an impressive 2014-15 season, one in which he was one of two point guards to average at least 10.0 assists per game.
