News: Ayres recorded a season-high of 16 points (5-8 FG, 6-7 FT), while adding four rebounds and block in 17 minutes during Tuesday's loss to the Pistons.
Impact: Ayres has played in only 22 games this season and is averaging nine minutes per game over that stretch. He saw extended minutes Tuesday and capitalized with a new season-high in points. He may see more time on either Friday or Saturday due to Greg Popovich and his tendency to hold players out when they have games on back-to-back nights, but either way Ayres should continue to be fantasy irrelevant moving forward.

News: Ayres played 23 minutes against the Houston Rockets on Thursday. He managed to score six points (2-7 FG, 2-2 FT) and grab six rebounds with one turnover.
Impact: Ayres, the man formerly known as Jeff Pendergraph, certainly didn't make the most of his opportunity to play more on Thursday. He typically won't receive this many minutes on nights where Tim Duncan actually plays. Ignore him in all fantasy leagues.
