Clippers trade Cunningham to 76ers

News: Cunningham was traded to the Sixers and subsequently waived Wednesday, Yahoo! Sports reports.
Impact: The move clears a roster spot for the Clippers and nets the Sixers some cash. Had Philadelphia held onto the point guard past Wednesday afternoon, his contract would have become guaranteed for the rest of the season. The 23-year-old has now spent time with five NBA teams since entering the league in 2012.

News: The Clippers have Cunningham along with the draft rights to Cenk Akyol and cash to the Philadelphia 76ers in exchange for the draft rights to Serhiy Lishchuk.
Impact: Cunningham appeared in 19 games this season, averaging 1.8 points and 0.5 assists in 4.7 minutes. He signed with the Clippers as a free agent in September. He has played 40 career games in the NBA over three seasons, including with Dallas, Atlanta and Sacramento.
