Pistons revved up
Plagued by injuries, the Pistons had their work cut out for them against the Hornets. Detroit's Jonas Jerebko helped to pick up the slack with 11 points in Detroit's 89-87 over New Orleans. Jason Smith added eight points for the Hornets.
Something to smile about
Knicks' Amar'e Stoudemire (right) is all smiles after Tyson Chandler knocks down a shot and gets the foul against the Nets at Madison Square Garden. The Knicks got a much-needed win, defeating the Nets 99-92.
Cavs forward Luke Harangody uses his head while grabbing a rebound against the Mavericks. The Cavs beat the defending champs 91-88 on Saturday.

Clippers center DeAndre Jordan soars for a dunk over Wizards forward Kevin Seraphin. Jordan had 18 points and 11 rebounds in the Clippers' 107-81 win.

Magic forward Hedo Turkoglu reacts after being called for a technical foul against the Pacers. The Magic defeated the Pacers 85-81.
Dwyane Wade and the Heat offense did whatever they wanted in the fourth quarter to cruise to an easy win in Philly.

76ers forward Andre Iguodala goes up for a dunk during the fourth quarter against the Miami Heat, but unfortunately it was academic by that point as Miami built a big lead.
Suns guard Shannon Brown shows nice form on a pretty layup against the Houston Rockets, but both teams pulled their starters in the fourth quarter with Houston having built such a sizable lead.
Rond and Rond
Celtics forward Rajon Rondo scores on a layup against the New York Knicks. Rondo only finished with seven points but added seven assists.
Pistons forward Jonas Jerebko only scored six points against Milwaukee, but at least he got some style points on this bucket.
Timberwolves point guard Jose Juan Barea does his best to control a loose ball during the first half against the New Jersey Nets. The T-Wolves eeked out a 108-105 win.
Spurring a win
Richard Jefferson throws down two of his seven points to help the Spurs top the Hornets 93-81 on Thursday to improve to 12-1 at home. San Antonio overtakes Dallas for first place in the Southwest Division.
Reach new heights
Grizzlies guard Tony Allen takes off for a dunk during Memphis' 96-77 win over the Hawks, handing Atlanta its second home loss. Allen scored 18 points, one of five Grizzlies to reach double figures.
Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony tries to dribble around Bulls center Joakim Noah during Chicago's 105-102 win. Melo scores 26 points but misses a last-second 3-pointer that would have sent the game to overtime. New York falls to 4-7 at Madison Square Garden.

Dwyane Wade and the Heat are not having an easy time against the Bucks this season. Miami falls to 0-2 against Milwaukee after its 105-97 loss despite LeBron James scoring 24 of his 40 points in the first quarter to help the Heat jump out to an early double-digit lead. But the Bucks outscored Miami 58-37 in the second half.
Derrick Rose tries to penetrate the 76ers defense but there was little room to operate as Philly held the reigning MVP to 18 points in its 98-82 win over the East-leading Bulls. Chicago was held to 43.2 percent shooting as the Bulls have lost two of three.
