Tribute to a legend
Lakers fans write personal messages on the Dr. Buss Memorial Banners in the Nokia Plaza at LA Live, directly across the street from Staples Center on Wednesday. The Lakers will hold a memorial service to celebrate the life of longtime owner Jerry Buss at the Nokia Theater on Thursday, for invited guests only. Dr. Buss died at the age of 80 on Monday following an 18-month battle with cancer.
