News: Jones signed a non-guaranteed contract with the Nets on Monday, Yahoo! Sports reports.
Impact: After joining the Clippers on Jan. 14 last season, Jones played a bit role in the backcourt rotation, appearing in 33 of a possible 44 regular season contests. Overall, the 34-year-old averaged 0.6 points (on 29 percent shooting) and 0.3 rebounds in 3.7 minutes, which doesn't inspire confidence whether he makes the 15-man roster out of training camp or not.
