    News

Ben Simmons scored 18 points Saturday on 7-of-16 shooting as the Philadelphia 76ers lost to the Toronto Raptors 128-94. Simmons grabbed 10 rebounds and had eight assists, accumulating a plus-minus of -20 in his 33:23 on the floor.

    Impact

The No. 1 overall pick in 2016 who missed all of last season due to a broken foot, Simmons has recorded a double-double in all three games. He joined Oscar Robertson as the only NBA players to start their careers with at least 10 points and 10 rebounds and five or more assists in their first three games. Simmons is averaging 15.7 points, 10.3 rebounds and 6 assists.

Simmons supplied 18 points (7-16 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 4-8 FT), 10 rebounds and eight assists across 33 minutes during Saturday's 128-94 loss to the Raptors.

    Impact

Simmons continues to put in his bid for Rookie of the Year. He nearly collected a triple-double Saturday after averaging 14.5 points, 10.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists across the team's first two games. If he continues at this rate, he'll seemingly be highly useful in every fantasy format.

    News

Simmons scored 11 points (4-11 FG, 3-6 FT) while adding 11 rebounds, five assists and a steal in 37 minutes during Friday's 102-92 loss to the Celtics.

    Impact

That's now two straight double-doubles to begin his NBA career, although this one came with some poor shooting and four turnovers. The Sixers will live with Simmons' growing pains, but the early results suggest that the 21-year-old will more than live up to the hype as the front-runner for the Rookie of the Year Award.

Ben Simmons scored 18 points Wednesday, going 7 of 15 from the field, as the Philadelphia 76ers lost to the Washington Wizards 120-115. Simmons pulled down 10 rebounds and dished out five assists, accumulating a plus-minus of +3 in his 34:40 of playing time. He added one block and two steals.

    Impact

Simmons looked very good in his NBA debut, and did a little of everything. Most impressive may have been his one turnover in 34 minutes. Simmons already looks like a fantasy stud and one that should be putting up a few triple-doubles fairly soon.
