VIDEO: Dale Earnhardt Jr. says more short tracks needed in NASCAR

Dale Earnhardt Jr. may be somewhat of a master of the high-speed restrictor-plate racing at Talladega Superspeedway and Daytona International Speedway, but apparently he's an even bigger fan of the short tracks in NASCAR.

Speaking on the FOX Sports RaceDay show prior to the Aaron's 499 on Sunday at Talladega, Earnhardt pleaded his case for having more short-track races in the Sprint Cup Series.

Fans agreed with him, too. During the Connect Live RaceDay fan voting that was conducted as the show aired, fans voted overwhelmingly in favor of short tracks when the following question was posed to them: Would you rather see more short tracks or more superspeedways added in NASCAR?
