Along with the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series schedule, the 2015 schedules for the NASCAR Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series were unveiled Tuesday afternoon on FOX Sports 1’s NASCAR Race Hub.
The big news for the NASCAR Nationwide Series next year is that for the first time, the FOX family of channels will host the first 14 races of the season, from the season-opener in Daytona clear through the June race at Chicagoland Speedway.
The major changes in the Nationwide schedule coincide with those on the Cup schedule: Atlanta becomes the second race of the season, Darlington races on Labor Day weekend, Bristol moves from mid-March to mid-April, and Phoenix will be the fourth race weekend of the year, instead of the second. In addition, Kansas and Charlotte swap dates in the fall.
Also, the FOX family of networks will again televise the entire NASCAR Camping World Truck Series schedule for 2015. The big news here is that the Truck Series adds a 23rd race, this one at Atlanta Motor Speedway, which will host a tripleheader in the second week of the season.
