Kevin Harvick is driver fans would most like to see win title
In a 24-hour FOXSports.com poll visited by nearly 8,000 readers, Kevin Harvick emerged as the driver most race fans would like to see win the 2016 Sprint Cup championship.
We asked which of the drivers remaining in the Round of 8 of the Chase playoffs you would most like to see win the title -- not which driver you thought would win, a clear distinction.
Harvick, the 2014 Cup champion who drives the No. 4 Stewart-Haas Racing Chevrolet, earned 24 percent of the vote to narrowly edge out Jimmie Johnson, who pulled in 24 percent.
Joey Logano came in third with 12 percent of the vote, followed by Joe Gibbs Racing teammates Carl Edwards (10 percent), Matt Kenseth and Denny Hamlin (9 percent each).
Defending Sprint Cup champion Kyle Busch, who also drives for JGR, ranked seventh in the voting with 8 percent. His brother Kurt brought up the rear with just 5 percent of the votes cast.
