Gilliland, Allgaier walk away from frightening wreck

The incident occurred following a restart with 83 laps to go, when AJ Allmendinger's No. 47 Chevrolet got loose under Paul Menard's No. 27 Chevrolet. Sliding down the track, Allmendinger's car made contact with the right rear of Allgaier's car, sending it shooting across up the track and into oncoming traffic.
As Allgaier's No. 51 rocketed up the track it made hard contact with the left front of David Gilliland's No. 38 Ford. The contact sent Allgaier's car spinning wildly, as Gilliland's car made hard contact with the outside wall.
Allgaier radioed his crew that he was OK, but had the breath knocked out of him. "I'm here to race another day," he told them.
Luckily, both drivers were able to walk away from the frightening incident.
"That was a hard hit," Gilliland told FOX Sports. "It was the hardest hit I've had in a while. I just want to say hi to my wife, I know she's concerned at home.
"Just kind of a tough hit. Tough way to end our night. It was the hardest hit I've had in a long time."
