NASCAR on FOX brings live coverage of the Sprint Cup race at Dover International Speedway on Sunday. The green flag drops at 1 p.m. ET, with coverage on FOX beginning at 12:30 p.m. ET.
The Denny Hamlin Short Track Showdown, a NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Model division race at the track on April 26, will feature 12 past and present stars in NASCAR, as well as local Late Model stock car drivers.
Hamlin will be joined in the annual race by fellow Sprint Cup drivers Tony Stewart, Kyle Busch, Jeff Burton, Michael Waltrip, Joey Logano and Aric Almirola as well as NASCAR competitors Jason White, Timothy Peters, Chase Elliott, Darrell Wallace Jr. and Curtis Markham.
This is the second year that the race will be run at the .75-mile oval.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Denny Hamlin Foundation, which raises funds for individuals and families suffering from cystic fibrosis. The foundation supports organizations like The Children’s Hospital of Richmond, St. Jude’s Hospital and Victory Junction Gang Camp.
