In another ‘Silly Season’ twist, Juan Pablo Motoya announced on Monday he would be leaving NASCAR at the end of the year to join Penske Racing’s IndyCar operation for the 2014 season.

After the annoucnement, fans took to social media to offer their thoughts on the move. Ranging from well wishes to good riddance, fans were vocal about one of the most polarizing drivers in the sport.

Here are a few of your comments from the NASCAR on FOX Facebook page

Some fans were sad Montoya would be returning to open wheel racing.

Others, not so much.

A few fans were expecting a move to Furniture Row Racing.

Of course, no social media post about Montoya would be complete without a few jet dryer jokes.

This meme was also making the rounds Sunday night during the rain delay, but is also worth sharing.

Apparently, a few fans also want Montoya to take Danica Patrick with him when he leaves.

Keep those comments coming, and we may use your feedback in the future!
