It’s been a rough year for Sprint Cup Series driver Landon Cassill.

He was hit by a car while riding his bicycle around Daytona Beach, Fla., at the beginning of the season, and this weekend his 2008 BMW M6 was stolen from his father’€™s car dealership in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

According to a local report, Roger Cassill, Landon’s father and the owner of the dealership, said a salesman was showing an interested buyer the car on Saturday. The salesman reportedly left the keys in the car overnight.

Two men came to the dealership around 11:37 p.m., and surveillance video shows the car being driven off the lot around 2:13 a.m. Sunday morning.

While police are still looking for information on the theft, Cassill took to his Twitter account Thursday night to help the cause.
