Indianapolis Motor Speedway replaces iconic scoring pylon

Track officials removed the scoring pylon that has been in use since 1994 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Just ahead of the upcoming NASCAR weekend, Indianapolis Motor Speedway is upgrading the frontstretch scoring pylon. On Monday, track officials used a crane to remove the current scoring plyon, which has been in service at the famed speedway since 1994. 

As they say, out with the old and in with the new.
