Feud of the Week – Mark Martin Vs. Free Weights

Mark Martin, driver of the #55 Aaron’s Dream Machine Toyota, stands in the garage area during practice for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on October 11, 2012 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Mark Martin might be 54 years old but like every racer, he gets frustrated. And he was really ticked off this week at Daytona International Speedway, where he got wrecked in practice Friday and wrecked in the Sprint Unlimited race on Saturday night.

“I’m going to take out my frustrations on the weights this morning,” Martin Tweeted (@55markmartin) Sunday morning. Chances are Martin, a huge rap fan, worked out listening to Gucci Mane, Dr. Dre, Eminem or 50 Cent.

“Rap music is like a cup of coffee for me,” said the ageless veteran. “It wakes me up and gets me going. I listen to it when I work out now. I love the energy. I still listen to Taylor Swift and Johnny Cash and country as well but that’s about 1 to 10 compared to the number of rap songs I listen to.”
