NASCAR president Helton takes part in the Ice Bucket Challenge
The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is making its way around the sports world, and NASCAR has certainly been no exception.
But when Johnson and McMurray finished pouring the ice-cold water on their heads, they nominated NASCAR president Mike Helton.
Eventually, Helton told McMurray he would let the drivers do it for a $1,000 donation to the ALS Association. Helton did not just talk the talk; Friday at Bristol Motor Speedway he walked the walk.
Keeping his word, Helton sat down as the drivers poured the water over his head, all for a good cause of course.
