It's been a rough year for Sprint Cup Series driver Landon Cassill.
He was hit by a car while riding his bicycle around Daytona Beach, Fla., at the beginning of the season, and this weekend his 2008 BMW M6 was stolen from his father's car dealership in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
According to a local report, Roger Cassill, Landon's father and the owner of the dealership, said a salesman was showing an interested buyer the car on Saturday. The salesman reportedly left the keys in the car overnight.
Two men came to the dealership around 11:37 p.m., and surveillance video shows the car being driven off the lot around 2:13 a.m. Sunday morning.
While police are still looking for information on the theft, Cassill took to his Twitter account Thursday night to help the cause.
