Jimmie Johnson Drops $14.25 Million On New York Apartment
Jimmie Johnson is upgrading his living situation.
According to PageSix.com, 5-Time has purchased an apartment in the West Village of New York City for a cool $14.25 million:
The building, Superior Ink, designed by starchitect Robert A.M. Stern, isn't exactly new to Johnson, wife Chandra and their two daughters, reports The Post's Jennifer Gould Keil.
The family sold a sixth-floor, three bedroom unit in the building that was listed with Halstead's Lisa Rose for $10.5 million, and then bought the larger 3,234-square-foot, five-bedroom unit for its full asking price.

If Johnson does bring home a 6th championship, he'll have plenty of room for another Sprint Cup Trophy. And we're wondering if Johnson used one of these for the down payment. Hopefully his real estate agency accepts giant, oversized checks.
