Jennifer Jo Cobb & Mike Harmon Starting Together In Texas Truck Race

Jennifer Jo Cobb and Mike Harmon have been in a legal battle off the track all season long, but Friday night in Texas, they'll be starting right next to one another.

Jennifer Jo Cobb and Mike Harmon can't seem to get away from one another.

When you have an on-track rival in NASCAR, too often is it the case that you can't get away from the other driver. Apparently the same applies to rivals off the track too.

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Jennifer Jo Cobb and Mike Harmon have been tangled in a legal battle over stolen race cars, equipment and haulers for much of the 2013 season. Friday night at Texas Motor Speedway, the pair will start right next to one another.

Last week, Cobb requested the criminal charges filed against Harmon and her former business partner David Novak be dropped by the Rowan County (N.C.) District Attorney's office.

"After much discussion with my legal counsel I have decided that upon the conclusion of the civil matters, I would like to be finished with any further connections to these parties and events," Cobb said is a team release. "To endure an ongoing criminal case would simply be counterproductive to my moving on and the 2014 race season."
