Feud Of The Week: "Mad" Max Papis Vs. Billy Johnson
"Mad" Max Papis rarely is mad.
Energetic and fun loving, the Italian driver is usually one of the most positive personalities in all of racing.
But even Papis has his limits.
And so when Billy Johnson roughed him up at the end of the Johnsonville Sausage 200 NASCAR Nationwide race at Road America on Saturday, Papis had enough. Walking down pit road after the race, Papis slapped Johnson upside the helmet and then had a few choice words for him.
But the real hilarity ensued in Papis's post-race interview when he suddenly went from very angry to remembering he wants to run additional NASCAR races. So Papis suddenly started expounding on the joys of racing including the people and sponsors associated with his team.
As reality TV goes, it just doesn't get any better.
