1

Jimmie Johnson

0 1 1/7
You rarely see one driver crush the field the way that Johnson did at Texas. He has now won 24 of 98 races in the history of the Chase for the Sprint Cup. Last week: 2.

2

Matt Kenseth

0 1 1/9
Certainly, fourth-place is nothing to apologize for, but Kenseth wasn’t even in the same zip code as Johnson all race long. Last week: 1.

3

Dale Earnhardt Jr.

0 4 1/14
Another runner-up finish for Earnhardt, who has quietly come on like gangbusters in recent weeks. Last week: 7.

Kevin Harvick

0 - 1/15
Once again, Harvick finished in the top 10. And once again, Harvick lost ground on the leaders, who both finished ahead of him. Last week: 4.

5

Kyle Busch

0 1 1/16
Early in the race, Busch hit the wall hard and late he got a pit-road penalty. And he still finished 13th. Last week: 6.

6

Jeff Gordon

0 3 3/18
Heartbreak for Gordon, as his Drive for Five officially ended with a flat left-front tire and hard crash into the wall. Last week: 3.

7

Clint Bowyer

0 2 2/15
A very quiet 10th-place finish for Bowyer, who is not as good this year as he was last. Last week: 5.

8

Joey Logano

0 2 3/19
Nice run for Logano, who was in the top five for much of the day and finished third. Best year of his career. Last week: 10.

9

Greg Biffle

0 1 4/18
At a 1.5-mile track, his bread and butter, Biffle should be racing for the win, not finishing 12th. Last week: 8.

10

Kurt Busch

0 1 2/19
The 2004 champ fought an evil-handling race car that failed to get much better all weekend long. Last week: 11.

11

Ryan Newman

0 1 7/20
Another top-10 finish for Newman, albeit behind seven of his fellow Chase for the Sprint Cup drivers. Last week: 12.

Carl Edwards

0 3 1/19
An engine failure sidelined Edwards, who has to be wondering if he should have gone to JGR when he had the chance. Last week: 9.

13

Kasey Kahne

0 - 2/15
A top five for Kahne, but he’s still the bottom guy in the Chase. Disappointing season after last year. Last week: 13.

Well, at least Truex is signed, sealed and delivered for Furniture Row Racing next year. Last week: 16.
