News: Kenseth finished 10th in the 400 at Chicagoland Speedway Sunday afternoon. Many drivers found it difficult getting onto pit road Sunday, and Kenseth was just one of the higher profile ones. The battle for track position was king in this 400-mile race and, unfortunately, he was battling uphill all day long in this race. The Top 10 places Kenseth 10th overall in the Chase standings as the series leaves Chicago. He trails leader Brad Keselowski by 25 points.(RotoWire, )

News: Kenseth ran into problems and finished 41st in the Federated Auto Parts 400 at Richmond International Raceway Saturday night. Impact: The Joe Gibbs Racing star misjudged his groove in one of the early laps of the race and ran the No. 20 Toyota hard into the outside wall. The impact damaged the right front fender and flattened the tire. The pit stop to make repairs led to a trip to the garage area as the damage was worse than initially feared. Kenseth would return to the track later but finish 70 laps down to the leaders. Despite the winless season and mishap at Richmond, Kenseth still makes the field for the Chase for the Cup based on points.(RotoWire, )
