News: Team Penske announced that it has signed multiple-race winner and 2014 NASCAR Chase for the Sprint Cup contender, Logano, to a contract extension, Team Penske PR reports. Impact: Not much detail is usually disclosed in these NASCAR contracts, and that is the case this time. Logano has signed a multi-year agreement to stay in the No. 22 Ford in the Sprint Cup Series and to continue racing part-time in the team's Nationwide Series entry. The young driver has enjoyed the most success of his career in the two seasons he's been with Roger Penske, so the extension comes as no surprise.(RotoWire, )

News: Logano won the Sylvania 300 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway Sunday afternoon. Impact: It was a wild, caution-filled affair at the Loudon short track Sunday. Logano rose above the fray with a key two-tire pit stop about midway into the event. It was the track position that the No. 22 team sorely needed.
