News: Joe Gibbs Racing announced that it has entered partnership with world-leading tool and security provider STANLEY and professional power tool provider DEWALT beginning in the 2015 season. STANLEY and DEWALT will serve as primary sponsors for drivers Edwards and Matt Kenseth, respectively. STANLEY will partner with JGR as the primary sponsor for 12 races on the No. 19 Toyota driven by Edwards beginning in 2015, Joe Gibbs Racing PR reports. Impact: The sponsorship picture is beginning to form behind Edwards' new team at Joe Gibbs Racing next season. DeWalt will form the foundation and take 12 events as primary sponsor on the No. 19 Toyota. In addition they will pick up six dates as primary on Kenseth's Toyota and serve as associate sponsor for three of the JGR teams. News: Edwards finished 20th in the 400 at Chicagoland Speedway Sunday afternoon. Impact: Chicagoland Speedway has always been a great track for the Roush Fenway Racing star, but it didn't work out that way this Sunday afternoon. Edwards was on his way to a respectable finish, but in the final stages of the event his No. 99 Ford cut down a tire that brought out the caution. He would finish one lap down to the leaders and take a tumble in the Chase standings. Edwards sits 12th overall after Chicago.(RotoWire, )

News: Edwards was fastest in Happy Hour practice for the 400 at Chicagoland Speedway Saturday. He turned a fast lap of 186.413 mph. Impact: The driver of the No. 99 Ford led a toned-down final practice at Chicagoland Speedway. Edwards edged Brad Keselowski to top the scoring pylon in this 50-minute session. News: Edwards was fastest in Happy Hour practice for the Federated Auto Parts 400 at Richmond International Raceway Friday. He turned a fast lap of 121.863 mph. Impact: Speeds dropped in the final practice session at the Richmond oval thanks to a warmer track and more rubber on the surface. Edwards led the way by edging Brad Keselowski for the top spot on the scoring pylon.
