News: Scott was fastest in opening practice for the EnjoyIllinois.com 300 Nationwide Series race at Chicagoland Speedway Friday. He turned a fast lap of 172.806 mph. Impact: Scott edged Roush Fenway Racing driver Chris Buescher to turn the fastest lap of first practice at the Joliet oval. The driver of the No. 2 Chevrolet has one career pole and three Top-10 finishes at the intermediate oval outside Chicago. News: Scott was fastest in opening practice for the Sta-Green 200 Nationwide Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway Friday. He turned a fast lap of 130.042 mph. Impact: The Richard Childress Racing driver was the only competitor to break the 130 mph mark. Scott turned a mere 11 laps in this first, 50-minute practice.
