A climber walks over a 'Slackline' at the cliffs of Stoja on Tuesday near Pula, Croatia. The area is known for 'Deep Water Soloing' (DWS), free climbing over water, which is a relatively new discipline and is popular with climbers wanting to go rock climbing during the high summer temperatures. Climbing over deep water means most of the climbing routes are safe for beginners but still offer a challenge for the more advanced climber. There are many opportunities for DWS along the mile-long cliffs of Croatia.
