10 behind the scenes photos from FOX NASCAR’s hangar shoot Tim Durr @timdurr Feb 23, 2017 at 11:05a ET One of the requirements from drivers during Daytona 500 Media Day is taking part in FOX NASCAR's hangar photo shoot. This promo shoot allows FOX to get the shots you'll see from drivers when going to and coming back from commercials during races. While there is a ton of work involved, the drivers and camera operators can find some time to have a little fun during the shoot. Check out some behind the scenes photos of the hangar shoot. Freaky Fast Harvick If the driver of the No. 4 Stewart-Haas Racing Ford takes the lead at the end of a stage in the Daytona 500, you might see a shot similar to this one heading to the commercial break. King Kurt In a Game of Thrones meets the junkyard look, drivers pose on a throne made of car parts for this shot. Kurt Busch seems pretty comfortable up there. Kyle Larson The driver of the No. 42 Chip Ganassi Racing Chevrolet gets into position for a part of his shoot. Chase on the throne Elliott will start the Daytona 500 from the pole position and this shot might pop up on your TV screen if he can hold onto that lead. Kenseth in the rain Matt Kenseth holds an umbrella while the FOX NASCAR crew hopes the showers pass to get some shots with this outdoor portion of the shoot.
