News: Busch is entered in the three National Series races at Bristol Motor Speedway this weekend, True Speed Communication PR reports. Impact: Not much has been going right for the Joe Gibbs Racing star in a Cup car, but that won't stop him from doing triple duty this weekend at Bristol. Between trucks, Nationwide and Cup competition at the half-mile oval, Busch owns a combined 16 victories. If there's any track in the series that he has a great chance to pull the triple sweep, it's the Bristol short track. He should be a top contender in each of these three events.(RotoWire, )

News: Busch was fastest in opening practice for the Careers for Veterans 200 Camping World Truck Series race at Michigan International Speedway Friday. He turned a fast lap of 186.485 mph. Impact: Busch beat out Austin Dillon to top first truck series practice at the Michigan oval. The No. 51 team being fast off the hauler this season has been a weekly theme. Busch was joined by teammate Darrell Wallace Jr. in the top 3 speeds, so it's clear that this KBM camp has something figured out about the Michigan oval.(RotoWire, )

News: Mars renewed their sponsorship deal with Kyle Busch and the No. 18, Joe Gibbs Racing reports. Impact: The new multi-year sponsorship will designate Mars as the Official Chocolate of NASCAR, and continues a winning tradition with Joe Gibbs Racing. Busch has already taken the M&M'S car to Victory Lane this season, and should represent Mars well in the Chase for the Sprint Cup.(RotoWire, )

News: Busch finished 40th in the Cheez-It 355 at Watkins Glen International Sunday afternoon. Impact: Busch normally contends for the win each time the series visits Watkins Glen, but that was not the case this Sunday afternoon. A poor qualifying effort put Busch back in traffic and he battled up hill throughout the race. Damage from hitting a curb, and then a pit stop penalty for driving away with the gas can attached put him off the lead lap. Then to add insult to injury, Busch came out on the losing end of contact with Martin Truex Jr. The JGR star would fall several laps down and finish 21 laps down to the leaders. He tumbled five spots to 15th-place in the series standings after the Glen.(RotoWire, )

News: Busch finished second in the Zippo 200 Nationwide Series race at Watkins Glen International Saturday afternoon. Impact: Busch made contact with the No. 09 Ford of Marcos Ambrose early into the Zippo 200. The spin and track position lost were easily overcome, but the driver of the No. 54 Toyota spent the rest of the day chasing Ambrose. Busch only led one lap, and his late charge fell short as he finished second at the Watkins Glen road course. It was his series-leading 15th Top-5 finish of the season.(RotoWire, )
