News: Harvick finished eighth in the Crown Royal presents the John Wayne Walding 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Sunday afternoon. Impact: That elusive second Brickyard victory will have to wait for Harvick and the No. 4 team. The SHR veteran led 12 laps early on from the pole position, but would soon fall into the field and lose the clean air. Harvick spent most of the race battling inside the Top 10 but he was not a threat to win after leading early on. He moves up one spot to 12th-place in the Chase for the Cup standings.(RotoWire, )

News: Harvick won the pole for the John Wayne Walding 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Saturday. He turned a fast lap of 188.470 mph. Impact: Harvick won all three rounds of qualifying to take the top spot on Saturday afternoon. The only other time he has started from the pole at The Brickyard was in 2003, when he led 33 laps and won the race.
