News: Biffle finished 10th in the Pure Michigan 400 at Michigan International Speedway Sunday afternoon. Impact: Even in a backup car, Biffle can turn lemons into lemonade at one of his favorite ovals, Michigan International Speedway. The Roush Fenway Racing veteran raced in-and-out of the Top 10 at time during the 400-mile event. Ultimately, Biffle's experience on this oval would pay off with a Top-10 finish by the time lap 200 was scored on the board. His eighth Top 10 of the season allows him to move up one spot to 11th-place overall in the championship standings as the series heads to Bristol next weekend.(RotoWire, )

News: Biffle will start Sunday's Pure Michigan 400 in a backup car. Impact: The No. 16 was damaged from a qualifying accident, and Biffle was forced to switch to a backup car on Saturday. The RFR driver will now start at the rear of the field. Biffle finished fifth in final practice with the backup car Saturday morning, and could still challenge the Top-10 on Sunday.(RotoWire, )

News: Biffle finished eighth in the Cheez-It 355 at Watkins Glen International Sunday afternoon. Impact: Biffle has always been pretty steady on the New York road course, and he showed it yet again Sunday afternoon. Biffle narrowly avoided catastrophe earlier in the race when he and Ryan Newman contacted on lap 55 and sent Newman crashing into the wall. The driver of the No. 16 Ford made some late gains in track position and claimed his fourth-career Top 10 at the winding road circuit. Biffle moves up one spot to 12th-place in the overall point standings.(RotoWire, )
