Editor’s note: On weekdays from Dec. 1 to Dec. 16, FOX Sports will be counting down the 12 wildest rides of 2016.

It didn’t take long for things to get wild this year in NASCAR.

Back in February, the NextEra Energy Resources 250 ended under yellow when a multi-truck incident broke out on the final lap of the 2016 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series season opener at Daytona International Speedway.

During the wreck, Christopher Bell’s No. 4 Kyle Busch Motorsports Toyota was sent barrel-rolling into Turn 2.

Fortunately for Bell, he escaped with no serious injuries, and won at Gateway just four months later.
