Some very nice GT cars got tore up in a mega pile-up on Saturday

Multiple cars were involved in a Lap 1 pile up of the qualifying race during the Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup at Misano on Saturday.

The wreck occurs at 24:30 in the following video:

Among those involved in the incident were the No. 2 Audi, the No. 8 Bentley, the No. 19 Lamborghini, the No. 44 McLaren, the No. 55 Ferrari, the No. 58 McLaren, the No. 87 Mercedes and the No. 89 Mercedes.

The incident brought out the red flag, but the race was restarted and eventually won by Maxi Buhk and Franck Perera in the No. 84 HTP Motorsport Mercedes-AMG GT3. The duo also went on to win the Main Race.
