The new 707hp Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has been the talk of the car world in recent weeks, and so it should come as no surprise that when the 2014 Carlisle Chrysler Nationals rolled around, the Hellcat was a major talking point of the show.
With the car that features the most powerful V8 motor in the world, Ralph Gilles, the President and CEO of the SRT Brand and Senior Vice President of Design at Chrysler Group LLC, was not shy about showing off what his latest creation could do.
Powered by a 6.2-liter Hellcat HEMI engine, the 2015 Challenger SRT will become the most powerful mass produced American car ever with its release later this year.
The Hellcat burnout was just one of many highlight's of this year's Carlisle Chrysler Nationals, which featured a variety of vehicles from vintage Plymouths to souped-up Neons and HEMI-powered trucks all on showcase throughout the grounds of Carlisle, Pa.
