China caps off worlds with yet another gold medal

LONDON (AP)

Zou Kai added a world title to his Olympic gold on high bar Sunday, giving China six golds at the world gymnastics championships.

Zou scored 16.150 points, well ahead of Epke Zonderland of the Netherlands and 2004 Olympic gold medalist Igor Cassina.

Earlier Sunday, Deng Linlin won on balance beam and Wang Guanyin took the parallel bars title. Beth Tweddle delighted the home crowd, winning gold on floor exercise for her second world title. Marian Dragulescu of Romania won the vault, his second gold medal in as many days.

The United States won just one medal Sunday, Ivana Hong's bronze on balance beam.
