News: GM Ruben Amaro Jr. said Joesph (wrist) could be a little behind the other players coming into spring training, the Phillies' official site reports.
Impact: Joseph is recovering for surgery on his left wrist. He is scheduled to start hitting in January, so it sounds like he might not be too far behind schedule. The Phillies are hoping he'll be able to stay healthy next season after concussions and other injuries have limited his time on the field the past couple of years. He'll open next season at Double-A or Triple-A.
