White Sox mascot available to solve your Valentine’s Day gift-delivery problems

Valentine’s Day is less than a month away, and it’s time to start thinking about what to get for that special someone in your life and how to deliver that gift to them. The Chicago White Sox have an idea to kill two birds with one stone.

The team is offering a $250 package complete with two tickets, a scoreboard message, chocolate, an autograph from a randomly selected White Sox player and here’s the kicker: It will all be delivered by White Sox mascot Southpaw himself.

So your special someone could be in the middle of an important, tense meeting and have it interrupted by the Phillie Phanatic’s lesser known and much creepier cousin. And the best news? Southpaw’s assistant “will bring a camera to take pictures of this special appearance.”

To be honest, this package isn’t too bad. I wish I had a significant other in Chicago right now. The two tickets are lower box tickets, and a scoreboard message is pretty solid value, as both are known to be pretty pricey. I’m pretty sure this is going to be the gift that really stabilizes a relationship going forward.
