Whether the Reds actually want to move Chapman is up for debate. According to ESPN’s Jayson Stark, one league executive deemed the Reds’ price tag for Chapman as "exorbitant."
It’s clear why contending teams in need of late-inning relief will be lining up for a shot to nab the 6-foot-4 Cuban closer, who has saved 19 of his 20 opportunities. The hard-throwing lefty owns a 1.74 ERA and has struck out 74 batters in 41.1 innings.
