Brett Gardner goes Bird hunting in goofy Yankees promo

Now that Mark Teixeira is retired, apparently New York Yankees outfielder Brett Gardner will carry the Bronx Bomber torch for goofy spots aimed at getting fans excited for the upcoming season.

Behold, Gardner hunting a rare species of bird. Greg Bird:

By the way, Greg Bird, named the Yankees Opening Day starter at first base, is having fantastic spring after missing the 2016 season with a torn labrum in his shoulder. He's batting .447 with 7 homers and 7 doubles in 47 at-bats this spring.

Must be the bird feed (groan).
