Jose Bautista’s NBA All-Star Weekend included a selfie with Snoop Dogg

Snoop and Joey Bats are apparently good friends these days.

With the NBA All-Star Game taking place in Toronto this past weekend, it was an opportunity for local stars to shine. Not only was Drake on hand as a coach for the All-Star Celebrity Game, but Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Jose Bautista served on the staff as well.

Despite maybe being a "glorified towel boy," Joey Bats still had quite a fun time, as shown on his Instagram page.

On Saturday, Bautista took part in Snoop Dogg’s charity game, which led to this wide-eyed selfie taken on the court:

After all the weekend’s festivities were over, Snoop thanked Bautista on Twitter as well — as apparently the two are good friends these days …

Oh, and as for the actual NBA Slam Dunk Contest and the All-Star Game, Bautista had some very choice courtside seats…

Its a wrap!!! #BackToBack #SlamDunk #Champion @zachlavine8 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

It pays to be a local sports star in the city hosting all-star events.
