Morosi: Power-starved Seattle has eyes on several big names, including Kemp

A trade seems like a logical move, and according to FOX MLB Insider Jon Paul Morosi, Seattle may indeed be willing to deal.
Morosi, camped out in Orlando, Fla., at the GM meetings which concluded Wednesday, has also learned that the Mariners have interest in the Rockies' Dexter Fowler and the Rangers' Nelson Cruz, as well.
FOX MLB Insider Ken Rosenthal reported last week that the Dodgers are listening to offers on Matt Kemp, Andre Ethier and Carl Crawford, telling interested parties, "If you're interested in one of them, make us an offer.".
Kemp, 29, nearly won the NL Most Valuable Player in 2011 after a 39-homer, 40-steal season, but injuries cut his 2012 season short and limited him to only 73 games in 2013. He was left off the Dodgers' postseason roster and underwent shoulder and ankle procedures in October while his team advanced to the NLCS before losing to St. Louis in six games. The two-time All-Star is scheduled to make more than $21 million next season; the Dodgers have more than $61 million invested in their four top outfielders next season — Kemp, Ethier, Crawford and Yasiel Puig.
Raul Ibanez did lead the Mariners in home runs last season with 29 — but he's 41 years old. Three other Mariners hit at least 20 homers last season, but none of them play outfield.
Seattle finished 71-91 in 2013, 25 games behind AL West champion Oakland.
